The Centre has been operating across Asia Pacific since it was established in 1990, initially offering membership, executive education, and research and consulting services in Australia and New Zealand.
The Centre was founded by its Chair, Geoff Allen AO, who remains Chair today. The Centre has been led since 2006 by its Executive Director Wayne Burns, who extended the Centre’s education, research, membership and consulting offerings across Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Our team has extensive experience working with corporations, governments, and business and industry associations.
Our senior team members write, speak, and teach internationally on best practice corporate affairs and the relationship between business, corporations, and society and its institutions.
The Centre shares a close alliance and sibling relationship with the Public Affairs Council (Washington DC), the Boston College Centre for Corporate Citizenship (Boston), and the European Centre for Public Affairs (Brussels).
The Centre supports Reconciliation with Australia’s First Nations peoples who have an unbroken relationship with the land and heritage of Australia. It is an equal opportunity employer, and works to ensure diversity and inclusion in its workplace and supply relationships.
The Centre is based in Sydney Australia and operates across Asia Pacific.
