Asia Pacific’s most extensive, practicable, and highly-regarded executive education programs for corporate public affairs practitioners

The Centre offers practitioners learning opportunities in Australia and internationally, via our executive education modules in situ or online.  Our programs cover the breadth of public affairs disciplines and practice, delivered by Faculty members who are internationally recognised and Guest Faculty comprising some of the function’s most senior practitioners from Fortune 500 organisations.

We capture the latest trends and developments in corporate public affairs internationally and support our members apply these to their corporations and organisations.

The Centre’s flagship and signature programs include its intensive, week-long residential Institutes in Australia and Asia, one and two day roundtables and modules, four-day residential leadership program, eight-week certificate programs, the annual Corporate Public Affairs Oration, and peer and issues webinars.

More than 2000 professionals over the years have graduated from the Residential Institute programs. Practitioners who complete the Centre’s professional development modules and programs are able to achieve and maintain one of three professional status levels awarded by the Centre.

Annual Corporate Public Affairs Institute, an intensive five-day residential program at the Melbourne Business School, and Asia Corporate Public Affairs Institute held in residence either at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology’s School of Business and Management, or Singapore Management University.

Our Heads of function & senior practitioners roundtables held in Australia and Asia are for the most senior corporate public affairs practitioners. These roundtables analyse and discuss the most recent developments and trends in function management and development.

Annual Corporate Public Affairs Oration

The Oration was established so that a distinguished leader in business, academia, politics or public life could make a contribution to the body of thinking about the interactions between corporations, government, public policy and the community.


International Best Practice Study Tour

Every two to three years, the Centre leads an International Best Practice Study Tour to the US and Europe. Participation is by invitation only, with preference given to Centre Members.

Executive Education Modules

Our one and two-day modules during the year provide participants with unique opportunities for peer-to-peer learning, discussion, and interaction on current issues and trends of interest to the function.

Issues Management Certificate

Delivered over eight weeks, the certificate courses involve self-paced learning as well as interactive group webinars and syndicate group work with other course participants. From 2020 this offering is online.
