Investors join to oppose Treasurer Frydenberg’s proposal to make virtual AGMs permanent

Continuing on from last week’s lead story in Front and Centre, investor groups continued to agitate against a plan by the Federal Government to make online-only shareholder meetings a permanent fixture. Advocacy against the proposal is led by fund manager Geoff Wilson, who ran the successful campaign against Labor’s franking credits policy in the 2019 Federal Election.
