Palmer to splash $40 million on UAP advertising during election campaign

Clive Palmer has pledged to spend at least $40 million on an advertising blitz for his United Australia Party (UAP) over the next five weeks, as he seeks to shape the Senate’s balance of power in the next Parliament. Mr Palmer estimated he would spend a total of $70 million on the UAP’s advertising campaign, having already spent more than $31 million since August. This advertising budget will likely outstrip the efforts of both major parties, which spent about $10 million apiece during the 2019 campaign…
