The Cambridge Analytica scandal, the 2016 US presidential election, and countless privacy violations are just some of the dishonourable situations which have damaged Facebook's reputation in recent years. But other than being bad, the bottom line is that Facebook is now just boring. Younger generations view Facebook as a social media platform for adults in their 40s and 50s, as well as a place where news is misleading and deceptive.
