‘We aren’t stopping at BHP’: Calls for investors to back push to stop sacred site mining
Nick Toscano, Sydney Morning Herald, 24 August 2020Indigenous land groups are lobbying shareholders of mining companies in an attempt to stop drilling activities being conducted on sacred sites. Indigenous land rights group, First Nations Heritage Alliance has thrown its support behind shareholder activism targeted at giving Indigenous people more rights over ancestral lands.
