Planning and reporting remain among the vexed and challenging management challenges in corporate public affairs. Many practitioners and teams wrestle with strategy, planning to deliver strategy, and reporting, both as a means to understand progress, as well as to capture and report the value generated by the function.

This full-day executive education module looks at good and best practice strategy development, planning, and reporting internationally (including in Australia and Asia). The module will be delivered by Centre for Corporate Public Affairs Faculty and senior practitioner Guest Faculty Brett Zarb, Head of Communications and Media - Suncorp, and Luisa Megale, Group Head of Corporate Affairs and Marketing, Lendlease.

The module is ideal for mid-level to senior practitioners who are involved in developing strategy, planning, and reporting, or practitioners who want to better understand these management disciplines.

This module is offered only every three years.

Graduates of this module will benefit from being exposed to the management value of developing and agreeing with senior management a practical approach to developing corporate public affairs strategy, as well as contributing to the broader strategy of the organisation.

The module will feature:
• best practice approaches to developing corporate public affairs strategy;
• aligning corporate affairs strategy to broader organisational strategy;
• developing and sticking to a planning cycle and process that works for your team;
