The Centre is unique in offering this professional development module specifically designed for Executive Assistants and Team Coordinators working in corporate public affairs.

Completion of this two-day module strengthens participants' understanding of the latest developments in the function, supports them to adapt to the way the function works, and provides these important team members with insights to best practice corporate public affairs function modus operandi.

This includes how they fit into best practice, can be part of effective issues management and reputation stewardship, and how they can apply innovation to effective team performance.  The criticality of good project management in the function and what best practice project management looks like, are elements of the curriculum also.

The module will be led by the Centre’s Executive Director Wayne Burns and delivered also by senior practitioner Guest Faculty Dan Holland - Director Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Endeavour Group; Sally Mackenzie - Board member, former Government Relations Lead at Australia Post and Telstra; Elizabeth Rex - General Manager Stakeholder Engagement , Stockland; and, Mike Scott - Group Head of Reputation and Public Policy, Woolworths.

    This module comprises fifteen credit points (15) of the 40 points required over 36 months for practitioners to achieve/maintain their certification as a Graduate of the Centre for Corporate Public Affairs (GCCPA).
