This highly interactive executive education module is ideal for practitioners responsible for developing and executing stakeholder engagement strategy, and for and those wanting to build and sharpen their skills and expertise to a best practice standard. 

Through a lens of international best practice in Australia and internationally, the module will examine:

  • Trends and developments in stakeholder engagement in large organisations
  • Linking stakeholder engagement with issues management and corporate community investment
  • Managing a good practice stakeholder engagement process to steward reputation
  • Assessing, measuring and reporting stakeholder engagement 
  • Stakeholder mapping (typology, attributes, influence), prioritisation
  •  Stakeholder engagement strategy, tactics and tools
  • Arrangements and structures to engage stakeholders, and assessing,  measuring, and reporting stakeholder engagement to inform strategy.

The module will be led by the Centre's Executive Director Wayne Burns, with contributions from senior practitioner Guest Faculty Luke Schepen, Executive Manager – Strategy, Marketing & Corporate Affairs – Commonwealth Bank, and David Stuart, Head of External Affairs – Federal and East Coast, BP Australia & New Zealand.
