This one-day virtual executive education module is an accredited Centre program to engage practitioners with the latest trends and developments in AI and its use in the corporate public affairs management function.

The module will bring the latest application of AI across the socio-political landscape and within the function into the Centre’s online executive education lecture theatre. It will include:

    • insights from organisations at the cutting edge of applying AI in business and public sector settings;
    • where AI is heading: its use in corporations and governments, including the regulatory landscape in Australia and globally; existing and potential applications of AI in the corporate public affairs management function;
    • the ethical issues/challenges/opportunities for organisations using AI in their supply chains and operations, including transparency, efficacy, and fairness; and application of AI to strengthen ESG performance; and
    • peer to peer dialogue on how AI challenges and opportunities are being approached and managed in the corporate public affairs function and its work.

The module will be delivered by the Centre's Executive Director Wayne Burns and Guest Faculty John Galligan, Head of Corporate External and Legal Affairs - Microsoft Australia/New Zealand, and Sarah Kaur, Design Thinking Practitioner - CSIRO's Data61.
