This webinar will appeal to entry-level to mid-level corporate public affairs practitioners.

Guest Faculty Peter Gurney, Head of Corporate Affairs - ING Australia, will provide insights and tips on how and why you need to manage up, and how to build your influence with leaders in your organisation. This will be followed by a discussion facilitated by the Centre’s Executive Director Wayne Burns, who will also present Six Insights to Managing Up in Large Organisations.

This is a free offering for Centre members.

Peter Gurney

Peter Gurney is the Head of Corporate Affairs at ING Australia, where he oversees internal and external communications, events, sustainability, and industry and government relations.

With extensive cross-industry experience from leadership roles at Boral, IAG, and NBN, Peter brings over 20 years of experience in communications and stakeholder management. He started his career in Federal government at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Throughout his career, Peter has successfully guided organisations through complex challenges, building resilient reputations and fostering meaningful relationships with key stakeholders – both internally and externally.
