Developed for practitioners new to the function ((including those with experience in other business areas), this two-day module will provide an overview of corporate public affairs, its importance, and its evolving role in business.
Participants will gain an understanding of:
• The role of public affairs in an organisation.
• Understanding corporate brand, reputation, and social licence to operate.
• The fundamentals of effective issues management.
• Collaborating with other management functions to co-produce outputs and measuring progress.
• Role of the practitioners.
• Effective stakeholder engagement.
• Managing your career development.
The program will be delivered by Centre Executive Director Wayne Burns and senior practitioner Guest Faculty.

This module comprises fifteen credit points (15) of the 40 points required over 36 months for practitioners to achieve/maintain their certification as a Graduate of the Centre for Corporate Public Affairs (GCCPA).
